Information for New Cardholders

Welcome to Maplewood Public Library! Below is some information to get you started. Explore our website and visit our FAQ page for more information!

About your new card
The Maplewood Public Library is an independent library serving the community of Maplewood, MO. We are a member of the Missouri Evergreen Consortium and the Municipal Library Consortium of St. Louis County. Participating in these larger organizations gives our cardholders access to more materials across the state and digitally!

You can use your Maplewood Public Library card at any of the nine libraries in the Municipal Library Consortium. While you cannot use your Maplewood Public Library card at any of the St. Louis County Library locations, we have a reciprocal agreement that allows you to sign up for a card with them if you are a Maplewood resident. We have similar agreements with St. Louis Public Library and St. Charles City-County Library. If you are a resident of St. Louis County, St. Louis City, or St. Charles and would like more information on these agreements, visit our policies page and scroll to "Reciprocal Borrowing Program."
