Library Director
Maplewood Public Library (located in St. Louis County, Missouri) is seeking a director of library services. This position is responsible for the operations of the Maplewood Public Library, a member of the Municipal Library Consortium, and reports to the Maplewood Public Library Board of Trustees.
The Maplewood Public Library seeks to provide the community a diverse offering of print and electronic materials, services, and opportunities for learning, entertainment, and social interaction. We strive to be the most welcoming library in St. Louis. Located in the heart of Maplewood, we pride ourselves on being an active part of the community and are looking for a director who excels in engaging staff and patrons, maintaining compliance with state and federal guidelines, budgeting and facilities management, and creative problem solving. Candidates must have a Masters in Library Science, experience in library management, and a desire to serve a vibrant community.
